Frequently asked questions
When must payroll be reported to HMRC?
Under Real Time Information, employers must send a Full Payment Submission to HMRC on or before the date employees are paid.
Do small employers need to auto-enrol staff into a pension?
Yes. Every employer with at least one eligible worker has automatic enrolment duties, regardless of size.
When do employees receive a P60?
Employers must give a P60 to every employee still employed at the end of the tax year, by 31 May.
Can SJPR run payroll for company directors only?
